The Rocket is a fun Space houseware item that can be placed in your home, on your island, or sold for some sweet bells. Here’s everything you need to know about the Rocket (including how much you can sell it for!). 

What does the Rocket do in ACNH?

The Rocket is a furniture item, but don’t expect a launch any time soon! It’s a stationary item that can be placed on your island to increase its rating. 

You can also use the Rocket, along with other items like Gold Armor, to craft an impressive Robot Hero that towers above your buildings! 

How can I get the Rocket DIY recipe? 

There are two ways to get the Rocket DIY recipe: 

  1. Message in a bottle – Check your shores to find a message in a bottle with a randomly selected recipe inside. These bottles spawn twice a day, so pick them both up to double your chances of receiving the Rocket DIY. 
  2. Talk to Celeste – You can find Blather’s sister, Celeste, during a meteor shower as she roams your island (typically near the beach) waiting for shooting stars. Talk to her and she’ll give you a randomly selected DIY recipe from the Space collection, which includes the Rocket. 

If you’re waiting for Celeste to visit your island during a meteor show, you can expect her from 7pm until the early hours of the next morning.

What materials do I need to craft it? 

To craft the Rocket, you’ll need 10-star fragments and 20 iron nuggets. 

Need more star fragments? Take a boat trip with Kapp’n who may drop you off at Star Fragment Island: an island where rocks produce star fragments instead of crafting materials / Bells.

How much does it sell for? 

Once you’ve crafted the Rocket, you can display it on your island in order to increase your island rating. However, if you’re looking for Bells, you can expect Timmy & Tommy to pay 20,000 Bells.

The Rocket DIY in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

This stationary furniture item can be used indoors and out to boost HHA and island rating points. You can get your hands on the recipe in a message in a bottle or by talking to Celeste during a meteor shower.

With only two materials needed to craft this DIY, it’s worth it for the bells you can sell it for or the points you gain by keeping it out on display!
